LIUTO EDIZIONI MUSICALI was founded by Piero Umiliani and his wife Stefania in 1970 and it is still run by the family, which defends the Company's independence, according with the maestro's philosophy.

Its catalogue lists a great part of the Piero Umiliani's compositions, including the titles of his former company Omega, movie soundtracks, library music of any musical genre, all availables for films, television, and advertising synch licensing.

The tracks were recorded in the legendary Sound Work Shop Studios, where the Maestro composed his music and where he directed his orchestra with the best italian jazz musicians of that era.

At the same time, Piero Umiliani was one of the first european directors to experiment the use of synthetizers and other electronic devices, always with his sophisticated jazzy touch.

Now, all these tracks represent an invaluable musical treasure, appreciated and recognized all over the world.
